RBD Coconut Oil, Refined in Indonesia
RBD stands for refined, bleached, and deodorized. The oil starts as crude coconut oil pressed from copra, then goes through refining to strip free fatty acids, bleaching to lift colour, and deodorising under vacuum to remove the coconut smell and taste entirely.
What you are left with is a neutral, stable fat with a melting point around 24 degrees and a free fatty acid ceiling of 0.075 percent. Because it carries no flavour of its own, it does not interfere with whatever it is going into, which is exactly why formulators reach for it.
We supply R.04 and R.08 grades to frying oil blenders, bakery and confectionery manufacturers, soap and personal care producers, and oleochemical plants. Packing runs from flexitank at container scale down to 20 litre jerrycans, and custom labelling starts at 21 metric tons.
