Who We Are

A Direct Coconut Exporter, Built in Indonesia

Managed by PT Barooka Global Indonesia, Cocopany connects international buyers with certified, factory direct coconut products.

Coconut farmer in Indonesia, part of the Cocopany supply network

Our Story

Why We Started

Indonesia grows more coconuts than almost anywhere on earth, and yet a buyer in Rotterdam or Chicago usually reaches that harvest through three or four intermediaries, none of whom can answer a question about the farm. Ade Priyanto started PT Barooka Global Indonesia in 2018 to cut that chain down.

The company runs from an office in South Jakarta and produces in Central Java, working with a selected group of partner farms rather than buying whatever the spot market offers. That is a slower way to fill a container, and it is the reason we can tell you which farms a lot came from when your quality team asks.

Nine product lines have grown out of that: coconut oils, desiccated coconut, sugar, aminos, and copra on the food side, and cocopeat, coir, and charcoal from the parts of the nut most exporters throw away. Very little of a coconut has to be wasted if someone is willing to find a buyer for it.

We are not trying to be the biggest exporter in the country. We are trying to be the one a buyer keeps coming back to, which means telling you when we cannot meet a specification rather than finding out together after the container has sailed.

Our Advantages

What You Get From Sourcing With Us

Five things a buyer actually has to rely on when the order is in transit and the paperwork has to be right.

  • Global Network

Cargo clears into Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. Korea, Malaysia, Japan, and Turkey have ordered for years.

  • Logistics Excellence

We book forwarders we have used for years, not whoever is cheapest that week. A confirmed date is a date you can plan around.

  • Modern Warehouse

Finished goods sit in a climate controlled store, segregated by lot. That is what keeps a batch traceable months later.

  • Third Party Certification

Our claims are audited by outside bodies, not asserted by us. Control Union, MUI, and BRCGS all hold us to schemes buyers recognise.

  • Complete Export Documentation

We prepare what your customs authority asks for, and we check the destination rules before the container is booked, not after.

Certifications in Detail

What Each Certification Means for You

Six schemes, audited by outside bodies. Not every one applies to every product line, and each product page lists only the ones valid for that product.

HACCPHazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
Our production lines run a documented food safety plan, so hazards are identified and controlled at the points in the process where they actually matter.
USDA OrganicUSDA National Organic Program
Our organic lines can be sold as certified organic in the United States, with the audit trail from farm to container to prove it.
Halal IndonesiaHalal Indonesia (MUI)
Ingredients, processing aids, equipment, and handling all meet Halal requirements, which importers in Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets need on file.
EU OrganicEU Organic, certified by Control Union
Registration ID-BIO-149
Our organic lines clear European organic import requirements, so your customs and retail listings go through without a separate verification round.
JAS OrganicJapanese Agricultural Standard, Organic
Organic status is recognised in Japan, which is a separate scheme from USDA and EU and is usually requested by Japanese importers directly.
BRCGSBRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety
A GFSI recognised food safety audit, which most European and UK retailers treat as the minimum for a private label supplier.
